Contact supportFlowSync.exe. Windows may show SmartScreen — click “More info → Run anyway”.FlowSync has no EV Code Signing (it costs $400/year — not yet built into the product price). That is why Windows asks for permission on first launch.
Steps: More info → Run anyway. The file checksum is shown right after you click Download — you can verify it with certutil -hashfile.
The app is portable — it doesn’t install anywhere. It simply runs from the folder that holds the .exe.
Config and logs live in %LocalAppData%\FlowSync\. To remove it, just delete that folder and the file itself.
No. FlowSync works with the Windows registry and services, which Linux doesn’t have. On a Steam Deck running SteamOS it won’t start. On a Steam Deck dual-booting Windows — yes.
FlowSync creates a Windows restore point automatically before the first Power+/Hardcore run. The backup file is in %LocalAppData%\FlowSync\Backups\.
You can roll back from the app itself: Menu → Restore → Pick a point.
Open FlowSync, go to Rollback and pick a date before the preset was applied. The app returns the registry, services and network stack to their original state.
Alternative: a manual rollback through Windows System Restore.
Yes. Applied Lite first and then decided on Power+? The app applies only the difference. Rollback understands those layers too.
But a restart is recommended between Power+ and Hardcore — some changes need the system to restart.
If your CPU/GPU already sit at 95%+ during the game, optimizing the system gives very little. The bottleneck is the hardware.
What to check:
Yes. But the Hardcore preset enables the High-performance power plan, so the battery drains faster. Power+ is the better choice for a laptop.
Lite touches nothing important. Power+ disables Cortana, the Xbox Game Bar and OneDrive autostart — if you use them, exclude those modules. Hardcore can break workflows with virtual machines and Hyper-V, so it isn’t recommended for developers.
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX formatAfter activation the app works offline — the internet is only needed to check for updates.
The bot @optimizewindows_bot sends the key on Telegram right after payment.
If the key got lost, send the bot the /keys command and it will list all your purchases.
Yes. Send the bot /transfer and confirm the move. The old binding is released and you can activate on the new PC.
Transfers are free and unlimited in number — but no more than once a week (to prevent sharing).
One. A key binds to a single PC for good. Moving it is done through the bot.
If you upgraded parts (a new GPU, drive or PSU, but the same motherboard), the HWID usually doesn’t change and the key keeps working. If you replaced the motherboard or CPU, you need a transfer.
Yes, within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Message support — @optimizewindows_bot, and the money goes back to the original payment method within 5 business days.
You receive 25% of every purchase made through your link. It is calculated from the amount actually paid and credited automatically at the moment of payment.
Your friend gets 15% off. It is applied automatically when they tap “Buy” — there is no code to type in.
The link looks like this: https://t.me/optimizewindows_bot?start=REFYOURCODE. You’ll find it in the bot (Profile → Referrals) and in your account on the site if Telegram is linked — along with your earnings and the list of people you invited.
Rewards land on your balance in the bot. You can withdraw once it reaches $1: Profile → Withdraw.
Account → Subscription → the “License key” row.
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX format. The dashes are inserted for you.Unlinking a key from the account is not the same as moving it to another computer. The account and the hardware are two separate bindings: removing the key from your profile does not free it for a new PC — the hardware binding (HWID) stays. To put the license on another computer you need a transfer through the bot: the /transfer command.
This is a false positive. FlowSync modifies the registry and services — behaviour that resembles a virus, so Windows Defender, Kaspersky and Avast may block it.
The fix: add FlowSync.exe to your antivirus exclusions:
The file checksum is shown after you click Download — you can verify it yourself.
This usually means an antivirus blocked or damaged the file. Download it again from flowsync.cc and add it to exclusions before running it.
The key is bound to another PC. If that is your own hardware, run a transfer: the bot’s /transfer command. If your HWID is the same and it still errors, contact support with a screenshot.
It means the file wasn’t downloaded from the official server, or it was intercepted. Check that you are downloading from flowsync.cc and not from a pirate site. If the error repeats, turn off your VPN or proxy and try again.
Open FlowSync → Rollback → pick a point before it was applied. Hardcore is aggressive: on older hardware (≤4 GB RAM) some modules can overdo it. Use Power+ on low-powered systems.
If the game uses an anti-cheat (VAC, EAC, BattlEye, Vanguard), some Hardcore modules can conflict with it. Roll back and use Power+ — it is compatible with every anti-cheat.
FlowSync does not modify game processes and does not inject DLLs — there has not been a single anti-cheat ban in all this time.
Run FlowSync as administrator → Roll back the network stack. If the app won’t open, run this in PowerShell as an administrator:
netsh int ip reset netsh winsock reset ipconfig /flushdns Then restart the PC.
On Telegram: @optimizewindows_bot, the /support command. Please attach:
winver)%LocalAppData%\FlowSync\logs\Recovery goes through Telegram. On the sign-in page click “Forgot your password?” and enter your email — a 6-digit code arrives in the Telegram account linked to your profile. The code lives for 10 minutes and you get 5 attempts.
Important: if no Telegram is linked to the account, you cannot recover the password yourself — only support can reset it. So link Telegram in advance: account → the Device section → “Link”. It takes half a minute and saves you a support conversation at the worst possible moment.
Disables these services: DiagTrack, dmwappushsvc, RetailDemo, MapsBroker, WSearch (optional), Fax, RemoteRegistry, lfsvc, WMPNetworkSvc, lmhosts, AJRouter, BcastDVRUserService.
Registry: removes promotional suggestions in Start, disables Cortana, disables “Share experience”.
18 more services on top, including WpnService, CDPSvc, DPS, WdiServiceHost, SCardSvr. Sets Game Mode to maximum, tunes process priorities, clears TEMP/Prefetch.
Network stack: TCP autotuning normal, Nagle off, RWIN tweak — cuts latency by 5-15 ms in online games.
• Disable Paging Executive — the kernel is never paged to disk. Needs ≥8 GB RAM.
• SvcHost Split — every service in its own process. Lowers the risk of freezes.
• Visual Effects: Best Performance — turns off Windows animations.
• Disables Superfetch and Sysmain (for SSDs).
• Disables Hibernation (frees 8-16 GB of disk).
It’s planned. There is no CLI yet — GUI only. If you really need it, send a request through the bot.
There is no public API (the app is a client, not a server). If you run a setup with N machines, write to us and we’ll discuss an Enterprise option.
Yes. Every change reverts with one button. A Windows restore point is created automatically. The registry and service backup sits in %LocalAppData%\FlowSync\Backups\. The app is HMAC-signed and verified on every launch. The open changelog is in our Telegram channel.
No. FlowSync works at the Windows level, not the game’s. It doesn’t inject DLLs, read game memory or modify game files. Anti-cheats (VAC, Vanguard, EAC) don’t react — not a single ban in 2 years of operation.
Yes — modifying services and the registry requires them. But FlowSync asks through UAC only when applying or rolling back; everyday use (viewing FPS and stats) works without them.
It depends on the hardware and the game. In benchmarks (Cinebench, 3DMark) — +3-7%. In games (CS2, Apex, Valorant) — +10-25 FPS on mid-range PCs and +40-60 FPS on weak ones.
On top-end hardware (RTX 4080+, i9) the gain is minimal (1-3%), because the bottleneck is the GPU/CPU, not Windows.
For licensing — the HWID, a hash of your hardware configuration: without it keys could be shared freely. Plus a security log: IP address and browser for sign-ins, password changes and key activations — it exists to block password guessing and to settle disputes.
There is no advertising analytics and no tracking of what you do on your system: the app doesn’t read your files and doesn’t collect a list of programs or your game history. The full list of what is stored is in the article “What data the service stores about you”.
Yes, and they are free. The license is lifetime. New modules, new games in the optimization list and fixes arrive automatically. The update list is in the bot, the /changelog command.
One key, one PC. If you need two, it is better to buy two keys (we are considering a family license for 2-3 devices — write to us if you need one).
Technically yes — FlowSync doesn’t check whether Windows is genuine. But we recommend a licensed copy: some Hardcore modules rely on a working Windows Update, and pirated builds often block it.
1. A transparent changelog — you can see exactly what each module does.
2. Full rollback with one button.
3. Keys bind to hardware — nobody can buy one and share it with 100 people.
4. HMAC signing — a guarantee that you are downloading the original app and not a trojanised fake.
5. Support on Telegram — a real person answers within 1-2 hours during working hours.
The Trial — 48 hours free with full functionality. It binds to your hardware, so one device means one trial. No bank cards, no mandatory sign-up.
The full list, with no vague wording.
Not collected: the contents of your drives, the list of installed programs, your game history, your messages, your location. The app works with Windows settings and does not read your files.
